「恋ひ死なぬとに」の連作。3747歌では、自らの「待つ」身のつらさからに掛け、本歌では、離れ離れの夫が配流先で「住みづらいなら」、わたしが恋で死なぬうちに帰ってきて、と詠う。
This is a series of poems including the phrase “before I die in love.”
The poem 3747 alludes to the pain of her own “waiting”, while in this poem, to her estranged husband’s “difficulty to live in another country.”
