播磨娘子は播磨国に住んでいた女性だが身元不詳。遊行女婦(ｳｶﾚﾒ)であったという説がある。

Harima no Otome was a woman who lived in Harima Province, but her identity is unknown. There is a theory that she was a courtesan.
