In the palace of Asuka no Kiyomihara, my great lord, the Emperor, known throughout the heavens, reigned and ruled the country. Is it possible that the son of the sun, shining brightly, is immortalized in the land of Ise, where the divine wind blows and the seaweed sways, filled with the smell of the sea?

天皇が崩御した後八年目の九月九日、御斎会が行われた夜、夢の中でおぼえて与えられた歌一首(古歌集の中にでている)
飛鳥の清御原の宮で、天下を統治なさったわが大君、あまねく国土をお治めになった大空高く輝く日の御子よ。いかなる御心か、神風の吹く伊勢の国は、沖の藻もなびいている波に潮の香が立ちこめる国に、なんとも慕わしい、高々と輝く日の御子よ。
